COVID-19 Preparedness & Mitigation In Our Dealerships

The safety and health of our customers and employees is of paramount concern at Lee Auto Malls, so we want to outline for all parties our response to the current coronavirus pandemic. With the news today that a Maine resident has tested positive for COVID-19, we want to address the issue and advise the community of what we are doing to keep our customers and staff safe.

Lee Auto Malls will maintain normal sales and service operations until advised otherwise by Maine health officials. We are actively taking the following steps to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone who visits one of our dealerships:

  • We have enacted a strict hand-washing protocol that requires employees to wash with soap and water or sanitize hands frequently.

  • Employees have been directed to avoid shaking hands and to stand six feet from customers when possible.

  • Hand sanitizer and boxes of tissues are available throughout all of our dealerships 

  • Our hard-working cleaning staffs have been directed to treat all work surfaces with proper disinfectants and to take extra care in disinfecting high-traffic areas

  • We conduct periodic wipe-downs of the interior of vehicles in the showroom and demos before and after test drives using anti-bacterial wipes

  • Service employees are wearing gloves when inside customer vehicles, and we've initiated a protocol to sanitize vehicles before returning them to customers

  • Any employee who is sick is directed to stay home, and any employees who appear ill will immediately be sent home. 

  • Any employee who has traveled on a cruise ship overnight, or to a country designated as Level 3 Health Alert country by the CDC will be required to self quarantine for 14 days before returning to work.
